Slain Utah University StudentвЂs Family Confronts Her Killer Before Sentencing
SALT LAKE CITY — loved ones of the Utah university student who had been discovered strangled and burned a year ago after a look for her that grabbed the nationвЂs attention called the person whom pleaded bad to her murder a “monster” Friday while they confronted him before he had been sentenced to life in jail with no probability of parole.

Police have charged Stephan Cannon, a 24-year-old local man, with the killing of retired police captain David Dorn amid riots in St. Louis. The veteran cop was shot dead when confronting looters.

Cannon, who was one of the “persons of interest” seen ransacking a St. Louis pawn shop on surveillance footage last Monday, was charged with the murder of Dorn, a black police captain who retired after serving over 38 years on the force.

Police on Friday arrested a Maryland man on charges connected to an attack on a group of young adults posting flyers on a bike trail about protests related to George Floyd, the black man who died after a Minneapolis police officer knelt on his neck for nearly nine minutes.

Anthony Brennan III, a 60-year-old white man from Kensington, was charged with three counts of second-degree assault for the attack on a young man and two young women early Monday afternoon along a bike trail in Bethesda, Maryland, close to the Washington, D.C. border.
